FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What would I do at The Farm?

Find out why the chickens are in the trees! Get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, soothed and relaxed by the sounds of nature. Have The Farm’s down to earth staff listen to and understand you. Have a place where you and your family can call a truce for a day and really listen to each other.

You will meet Pluto who can pull you in a wagon to meet the other animals. You can hug our donkey and have our donkey hug you. There is time to work through difficult feelings or circumstances and begin to heal. There is fun, healing and growth at The Farm with the assistance of its staff, plants and animals. All this is done in a natural setting where you can hear geese honking, chickens clucking and the gift of nature’s peace and healing.

Who decides what I can do at The Farm?

The Farm’s staff talks to you before you come and a special day is created based on your needs. Want to just have fun? A combination of fun and healing? Have a group that will do its own program? All this can be part of The Farm’s experience. It is based on what you need.

Activities can include learning about endangered plants and animals and learning that each one of us is an endangered person. There is only one of us. You can work with animals and gardens. One of our most popular activities is to get so close to nature you hug a tree! You can simply be in nature and let nature works it miracles helping you feel less stressed, depressed, anxious and more at peace with yourself.

Do I get to pet an animal or ride one?
