What Do You Do at The Farm?
At The Farm we use plants, animals and nature as a way of helping people heal and grow. Programs and activities are created for each family, group or individual depending on their goals. Each program created is designed for the specific people coming to The Farm. Programs may involve animals, plants, or nature. Some programs involve all three areas and nature seems to be involved in all areas of the programs.
Activities may include learning about endangerment, what that means, and that each one of us is an endangered specie. Other programs involve working in the gardens or creating a new one. It all depends on the people’s needs and goals. One unusual activity involves hugging a tree. The influence of nature works its miracles and people begin to feel less stressed and often, less depressed and anxious.
